Happy Nurse's Week !! My card for all my Fellow Nurses !!

Hi Everyone !  

           Sorry I have been away for so long. I have been really busy between working, crafting, family, and those dreaded Continuing Education Classes !!  All my nursing buddies know what I am talking about.... But - the good news is, that now I am FINISHED !!  Yippee !!  No more classes for at least the next 2 years.
           A few of my cohorts received a card like this which is made from the Magnolia Stamps "Tilda" collection and this is called "Nurse Tilda" . I made her in a variety of hair colors to try to match up with the recipient's hair color (well...at least the color they are applying to it ! ha ha !)

          I was so lucky to have run across these cute little brads of a nurse's cap and stethoscope to add to the cards. Located at JoAnns.com . The colors were done with my favorite SPECTRUM NOIR pens....and simply paper layering with papers from my stash. I particularly liked the blue/white striped paper, as it reminded me of my Student Nurse uniforms and caps. sigh...... memories of my youth ! The card is layered with foam tape but you cannot tell from the photo. Also, I found some lace with a tiny blue ribbon running through it that was so perfect and used it for the bow.
         Inside the card is a sentiment that I thought of and simply printed out on the computer, which all nurses would understand............
      "What did YOU want to be when you grew up ?"
