GRAPHIC 45 INSPIRES ME AGAIN !!

Hi Fellow Bloggers !!

My Sister-in-Law had some surgery this week and I wanted to make her a special "Get Well" card. I spent hours trying to think of something original for her and as I was looking through my paper stash, I came across a 12x12 sheet of G45 paper that I had forgotten about...it was a "Lucky Lindy" theme from a retired collection. This was great inspiration, as she calls herself "Lindy" even though her real name is Linda. I thought about it for a few minutes and came up with a verse for the inside which reads " This old Lindy may have had a lot of luck..... but our Lindy has a lot of prayers !! " .... Get Well Soon !
I really worked on this for a long time, trying to get the papers to look 3 dimensional and did some fussy-cutting to make the "magazines" look like they had real pages inside of them. I think it turned out pretty well. I used lots of black foam adhesive squares for the layering effect - these are much better than white ones as they do not show under darker papers as much.
Well, gotta get back to the housework and the Shamrocks that are being cut out on my Cricut machine as I type this !
