ALTERING WOODEN BOXES & "STUFF" with GRAPHIC 45 PAPERS

Hi Everyone !

          I thought I would post someting a little diffeent for you today. There are a lot of projects going on at my house besides making Valentines Day Cards.... I enjoy looking around the house to see what kind of worn-out tattered old stuff I have that needs some NEW LIFE breathed into it !  (well....Besides Yours Truly !  ha ha ) 
         I love to re-decorate and since I am on a very tight budget these days, I cannot afford to just go out and purchase lots of new things for the house. That is where being a Crafter is so helpful. I love to paint old things, do some decoupage, move pictures from one room to another....Sometimes just changing the frames on pictures in a room is  a big help. There is no end to the magic you can create with some paint and Mod Podge and pretty papers !
       I spotted this old wooden box I had in my office bathroom which was made of heavy Pine and is in real good condition, except for the worn out finish and ugly hardware .. So, I decided to give it a Paint job first, and remove the hardware. I want it to coordinate with my Parisian Themed Powder Room I had started ( and knotty pine is definitely NOT Parisian ! )... So here is a "BEFORE" picture that I took of the beginning of this project... I shall take a few more as it progresses....so " STAY TUNED " !!
