CHRISTMAS IS COMING !! ARE YOU READY ??

It seems as though it comes faster each year...and I never have enough time to do all that I really want to do for the Holidays. I really need to start gearing up for next Christmas on December 26th ! 

I wanted to share with you one of my projects I have been working on - now that I have a new camera. Unfortunately my new camera does not seem to want to be friends with my computer, so I am having a difficult time with the uploads. But hopefully it will get better.

This green satin ribbon Christmas tree is actually  PIN CUSHION  that I made using a Styrofoam cone, wrapped in Green felt, glued to a small wooden block. Then, I cut 5 inch lengths of 1 1/2" wide forest green satin ribbon, made loops out of them and attached them in layers (starting at the bottom and working up ) by first using a straight pin and then added a bit of hot glue under each one....I then added some 3 1/2" stick pins that I have made in Christmas colors, as "ornaments" I was going to glue a lot of BLING on it,  but since this is for a Cricut swap, I decided to leave it rather plain and let the recipient decorate the tree however she would like.

Next, you will see a few of the small gift bags I have made for another Cricut Message Board swap - we made gift bags with matching tags and I also did some cards for a few of them.  Thanks for "tuning in"  and dont forget to comment for the free prize drawing this weekend !
