Getting Ready for the Red White & Blue Days Ahead !!

Here's a quick peek at a Patriotic Themed Pin Cushion that I made for someone special who as a birthday just before the 4th of July celebrations. I am also making a similar one for a partner on the Cricut Message Board, as a SWAP item with Red White & Blue Stick Pins and a cushion.... I won't post that one just yet because she has not received it and I want to retain a little of the surprise for her... I used a blue Glass, Star-Shaped Candle holder for the base with red/white/blue star printed cotton fabric over the padded styrofoam ball in the center, then lots of Stars & Stripes Ribbon I found at JoAnn's, and I cut a special Statue of Liberty on my Cricut machine with copper paper and made a stick pin out of it. I also placed a crocheted doily over the cushion and ran some narrow ribbon through it.
