Happy Holidays My Crafty Friends !

          I have been working on a lot of Christmas cards lately and my favorite is this one I am making with an Anna Griffin Poinsettia 6x12 embossing folder.  It is very handy because if you are making 4x6 or 6x6 cards, you can emboss a 12" piece of cardstock, cut it in half and make 2 card fronts at the same time !!

         I have changed the ribbons on the cards to make it look different, and also have painted the little green holly leaves on one, while leaving the other in white.  The coloring is done with Spectrum Noir markers and then coated with Spectrum Sparkle pens for a wonderful glow... Hope you like them !

Hello My Friends !!

    I know that I have been absent from here for a while. My life has been so very busy, plus I have been working a lot at night trying to get my Independent Craft store up and running online. It is almost ready and I am soooooo excited !!

   One of my favorite new lines I am carrying in my shop is from a company called ADORNit.
They have a lot of inspirational items, and I especially love this line called " DOCUMENTED FAITH " .  There are four paper designs available with several embellishments as well.  My favorite one is called " Walk of Faith  " and it is a collage of Bible verses and Inspirational messages printed on wonderful thick WATERCOLOR PAPER !!  You can PAINT these with watercolors, Twinkling H2Os, or any kind of markers, pencils, or crayons you wish !  You can then cut them apart to make great cards and gift items !!

   Here is a card that I made tonight with one of the cut-outs. It is an A2 size card and I colored the Cut-out with watercolor pencils and touched them with a wet brush to smooth out the colors. Inside the card at the bottom is a length of the great Washi tape that coordinates with this line.

  I hope you will agree that this is a great find !  Let me know what you think about these products so I decide if I should order more !!

SIMPLY " GORJUSS " !!

Hello Friends and Co-Crafters !

         Lately I have been working a lot with products from the Docrafts company and one of my favorites are the line of Santoro "Gorjuss Girls" stamps and papers. These images are inspired by a line of popular European dolls of the same name. There are about 50 of the stamps now, including some sets that are about 4x6" and the mini images which are about 2x3" .  I paired some stamp sets recently with the XCuts Shadow Box Dies and XCuts Design a Scene Die sets which I sell in my Etsy store and made these gift bags and cards. I love doing these and will probably be turning out more very soon !

HELLO FELLOW CRAFTERS !!

     I hope that you had a wonderful Holiday Season and are now getting in gear for some fun and exciting crafting this year !   CHA was going on all this week and while I could not attend, I had a direct link to it with my favorite Sales Rep, Lisa Harrison. She sent me tons of emails and pictures of all my favorite Product Lines and Designers . I plan to be making some things very soon and posting pictures here for you to see.... Also , we shall have a few new Contests and Prize Drawings coming up shortly, so stay in touch here with me !!
   First of all, I have to let you know that GRAPHIC 45 is reviving one of my favorite collections, called "  A LADIE'S DIARY"  and it will be out in February, along with a very very old one called "COMMUNIQUE" .  There will be 3 BRAND NEW collections too ; 1. CityScapes  2. Enchanted Forest and 3. Voyage Beneath the Sea.

Merry Christmas to All !!

I wanted to take a moment during this busy week to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas !  Here is a look at one of my Christmas cards I made this year using Anna Griffin papers and a Minc Machine to put lots of shiny gold embellishments to work !  I just love the look of ivory and gold !!
