Being Thankful in America

Thanksgiving ....

is just around the corner as you all know .... and the "official " beginning of the Holiday Season in the United States.  If you live in this country, you already have so much to be thankful for. Being the very spoiled people that we are, sometimes we lose sight of the things that are most important. We tend to focus upon what we DO NOT have instead of what we DO have. I am so very thankful for my family , friends, and all I have materially... I was blessed with great parents who brought me in up in a Christian home with love and security.
That is something which is absolutely priceless !

I wanted to share this little card I made using an old Tilda the Pilgrim stamp which is one of my favorites . I used a Sizzix BigzPro "Gate-Fold" card die for the card base and Tilda was colored in using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Ink Pens. They are sooo easy to use when you color on the Spectrum Noir cardstock which is super smooth and nicely coated to use with these pens. It also has very little absorption so that it does not merely "suck" the ink out of your pens and does not bleed through the paper so much. Great stuff !  It also embosses very beautifully !  I made a few different versions of the card for different purposes. The turkey inside of the cards is from Big Red Stamp company and he is also colored in with Spectrum Noir pens.

I will be back soon with my new BLACK FRIDAY BLOG CANDY !!   Love & Blessings to All !
