USING ANNA GRIFFIN HOLIDAY DIES - HOLLY LEAVES

HAPPY "HOLLY" DAYS TO YOU !!!

Yes - I CAN make something besides cards !  Ha Ha !!
I wanted to show you that I came up with a different idea to use one of the new Anna Griffin Holiday dies...I die cut/embossed the large Holly Background out of a dark rich forest green Coredinations paper.. I used some gold "Rub'n'Buff" on the edges and detail which was applied with my fingers and added little red crystals where some of the holly berries were embossed....then mounted it on a red velveteen background mat with a strip of ivory & gold ribbon across the center. The frame was an inexpensive plastic frame with a lot of detail molded into it, but no highlights, so I rubbed it down with the gold Buffing wax too and the details really POPPED !  I used an embellishment that I found in my stash of Graphic 45 "Christmas Emporium" chipboard pieces that had a tiny bit of holly on it and a greeting to the frame as well. I cant take credit for the angel in the picture, she is a lovely new purchase from Michael's. But this is part of my Holiday decor in my office for this season...and I am pleased with the results !
