BUSY BUSY BUSY !!

Hi Everyone !  I know I have been too quiet here lately. I have taken on more projects lately and just have been so busy trying to get them completed....

Here is a card I recently completed using Graphic 45 " A Proper Gentleman" cardstock. It is of course, distinctly masculine and I love how the papers remind you of a nice silk neck-tie on a well-dressed man !  I add some brads that were tear-drop shaped and had a blue rhinestone in the center of each one. I thought they looked like nice "tie tacs"...like my Dad used to wear. Also I love the masculinity of using Grosgrain ribbon on the background. Added some small snippets from the paper collection that are mounted on black cardstock and mounted with foam tape for dimension. Inside the card I added a mat in matching cardstock, and then I cut a few of the "stamps" form the collection papers and ran them through my XYRON "Creat-A-Sticker" machine and made a Seal to place in with the envelope as a nice way to complete the card-making process. I always package my cards that I sell or swap in a cello bag to keep them nice and clean and crisp for the giver !
Hope to be back soon with a tutorial on making GIFT CARD HOLDERS for the HOLIDAYS !!

Happy Crafting to You !

  1. Great card. I always have a hard time making a "manly" card. Us girls are some much easier.
