Happy Easter Everyone ! (and a blog candy winner)

Hello to You All Again ~

You will be glad to know that things are back to normal and I am posting the winner late again !  ha ha -  it is so out of character for me to post on Sunday nights anymore...I just don't seem to be able to get everything ready by midnight, but I try...Well, now this week's winner of the Cricut Smiley folder is............  BETH  !!   So, be sure to send me your name and addy so that we can be sure to get this in your Easter basket this week !!  I will not be posting any Blog Candy this week as I will be pretty busy for Easter, besides, you will probably be getting lots of "candy" anyhow !! Check back in 2 weeks for a new prize ...

I have been furiously putting together some Easter cards the last couple of days. I am behind on things due to a death in the family this past Friday, and it delayed me some. I wanted to make cards for all of my elderly aunts and uncles for Easter. I try to let them know that I am thinking of them at this Holy time, and wish God's Blessings upon them. Most of them live very far away from me and I do not get to see them very much, so I feel like sending cards is an important part of my life.

Here are a few pictures of some I am sending out.... Sorry the picture quality is not the best. I tried to lower the lights some so that the embossing would show better.
Happy Easter Everyone !!

  3. Just wandering by and saw your Easter cards; the first one with the gold behind the cross is AWESOME, just beautiful. I have that bunny folder too and struggle with using it because it seems too plain but too detailed at the same time. I gave up but I like the ribbon you used on yours. What would we do w/o one another's inspiration to draw from? Have a calm, uneventful Easter!(That's what I'm hoping for anyway!)
