Top O' The Mornin' To Ye !!

Well.... with less than a week to go, it is time to get the St. Patty's Day cards in the mailbox !  I finally got the finishing touches done last night on a few and trying to get them in envelopes this afternoon. I have several elderly relatives to whom I send cards and even if it is a "silly" holiday like this one, I have a lot of fun creating cards for them and sending them a bit of cheer in their mailboxes every few weeks.
Here is a peek at one that I made using two different Cuttlebug folders for lots of texture. The bottom layer was made with a Square Grid folder that made me think of WAFFLES in the morning and then the next layer is one that is SHAMROCKS of course....both are available in my Etsy Shop.
This is a 5 1/2"x5 1/2" size card, which is rapidly becoming my favorite card to make. There are so many great paper pads out there now which are 6"x6" to use, plus it is easy to get 4 card fronts cut out from any 12x12 paper and of course taking a 12x12 piece of cardstock to make 2 card bases, it is easy and economical to do it this way.
The embellishments were cut from Graphic 45 collection "Places In Time" pages from March.
Thanks for taking a peek at my postings !!  More Blog Candy coming soon ..........
